Microsoft Word

I been trying to use my word infact it was working when i was typing a letter but then i saved it and restarted and now it saids the program is locked for editing where it won't let me type nothing can someone help me?

When this has happened to us we got around it by doing the following:
Go into windows explorer
Take a copy of the document and paste it to produce a second copy.
Rename it
Try and open it from within explorer.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
