Microsoft Word 2007 Paper Looks weird.

by pewpewpew / March 4, 2007 5:42 AM PST

Okay I just bought MS Word 2007 and I've had a minor problem recently. When i open it, it somehow saved a setting that makes the paper look kind of square in 100% zoom. The paper size says 8.5 x 11 which is normal and it is portrait with normal margins but in "print view" it looks more square that it suppose to. In "reading view" it look fine but the squareness bothers me. Is there a way to fix this, an easy way would be a master reset to default button. Can someone help me?

I have not used office 2007, but in the older versions you just needed to find your normal.dot file and delte it and it would reset the normal document template.

Try checking "White space between pages" in the Print and Web layout part of Tools>Options>View, as shown in http://www.bettersolutions.com/word/WAV143/QT710262222.htm

Occasionally, in fact, I get this 'problem' in a document also, and I really don't know what triggers it (might be a shortcut-key-combination I accidentally hit?). But by now I recognize it, and know how to get it back to normal, so I don't mind anymore.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
