Feb 1, 2011 1:02AM PST

Hi everyone,
I am getting this error when closing Ms Word 2003
Microsoft office word has encountered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvenience.
the information you were working on might be lost Ms office word can try to recover it for you
then next line below will have a check mark and next to it says recover my work and restart Ms office word.
This only happens when i m trying to close Ms word, if don't remove the check mark that i mentioned above, the error will come back over and over again and will never be able to close Word, under What data does this error report contain ? i have this:
Appname:winword.exe appver:11.0.8169.0 appstamp:465f2a40
modname:winword.exe modver:11.0.8169 modstamp:465f2a40
fdebug: 0 offset:000c4d5a
Can anyone help on this, some clues ?
Thanks a lot in advance

Ideas (I use these!)

1. Try WORD's SAFE MODE (see google if you forget how.)
2. If that works or fails, look up the old NORMAL.DOT fix.
3. If it all fails then uninstall WORD and reinstall it.
