Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000

hi guys,
can you tell me if there is any way to change the receiver for this MS Mouse?
i want to know if i can use a small usb adapter instead of the big one that came with the mouse, cause this mouse is used mainly with a notebook.

Agree with post re LOGITECH NANO, the ONLY way to go. You are not going to be able to replace USB receiver for the MS.

Bluetooth?

That MS mouse does not use Bluetooth for the wireless? I have an MS Presenter Mouse that uses Bluetooth and it synchs to my laptop's Bluetooth just fine.
