"Microsoft WDM Image Capture" software/drivers and XP

Dec 3, 2003 9:27AM PST

I attempted to find the "above" on my system as I am told by Kodak that it is part of the operating system and that I wouldn't be able to get my Kodak EZ200 Digital camera to work with out it. Anyone know anything about this software and/or drivers on XP?

WDM=windows drivers model; If you are doing VIDEO capture, it is possible that this driver is required. But I think the driver is more associated with your capture device rather than the camera itself (that's what I think but I could be wrong here though).

I checked quite a few hits with google prior to posting. Do you have WDM on your operating system? And, if so, where is it located?

Hi Brandon,

Kodak sent me this info today and I've already checked it out. I do have the WDM stuff and all looks fine. I really appreciate your providing the info as I has no idea how to figure out if I had what they were asking about or not. If Kodak hadn't gotten the info to me first than your post would have been a God send. It still is due to the "Thought"!
