WindowsMe - Dell Dimension 4100

I receive the following message - about 5 minutes after i boot up.

Program: C:\windows\explorer.exe

"A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated"

Please Help/Advise - Thank you very much.

I forgot to add that overheating machines can do that as well. Try this. Remove the case cover.

Does it stop? Take longer? SAME?
