After all, I filled out a form the other day and they just said to wait 6-8 weeks.
I'm hoping I can just use it as a normal flash drive. If not, I have a hammer that has a thing against Microsoft.

It appears that everything that ships on the drive is just informative reading material, and that is why there doesn't seem to be a downside to this.
