Microsoft to sponsor a NASCAR stockcar

May 26, 2006 2:52AM PDT

Word is out that microsoft will announce on Sunday at the Coca-Cola 600 that it will sponsor the number 66 car for a yet to be determined race. The specific sponsor deal will be the #66 Windows Live OneCare Chevy. (right now the car is sponsored by Best Buy and driven by Jeff Green.

this is the first time that i can think of that microsoft will sponsor a car in NASCAR's elite Nextel Cup division. It makes sense though i mean alot of the eyeballs watching the race have computers...

just thought that was interesting (being a fan and of both tech and nascar)
