Microsoft to charge new users for Office 2007 Beta!

by John.Wilkinson / July 29, 2006 4:47 AM PDT

Just a heads up that starting on Wednesday at 18:00 PDT Microsoft will begin charging $1.50 US per download of Microsoft Office 2007 and all of its components for new users. Note, though, that those who have already registered, or will before the deadline, will continue to receive future downloads for free. Thus, if you are interested in trying out the Beta version of the latest Office release you should register and download as soon as possible.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
