If I read this right then support ends in less then 2 years.

For just about everyone there is no support. Why? Most buy a laptop or desktop with the OS preinstalled under an OEM agreement. Microsoft doesn't support those.

Still, if it's OEM, it's a manufacturer issue primarily except that Windows Updates and such will still continue to be provided ..
