Microsoft Streets & Trips 2005 w/ GPS

Is there any way possible to get the DeLorme Earthmate GPS working with Microsoft Streets & Trips 2005? I am fed up with DeLorme Earthmate's Maps! They suck!

Why don't you ask DeLorme?

But I'm afraid the answer is NO. Ever tried to mount an Chrysler motor in a Ford?

Moreover, Streets & Trips isn't part of MS Office, so this definitely is the wrong forum for this question.

I just purchased Delhorme earthmate gps LT-20 and had streets and trips already on my pc.
Immediately, I found that the earthmate receiver didn't function with it.
I went to http://www.delorme.com/support/downloads.asp, picked out the right driver and downloade it. I used the S&T configuration tool and had it working in no time.
Good luck

Delorme Earthmate and S & T

There are numerous mods to the DeLorem GPS receiver on the web. This receiver requires a special start up word in order to initialize. The Delorn soft ware sends this code word and the receiver responds.
Search the web for Earthmate mods. Also, hams are using this rx for APRS applications.
I hope this helps..
