Microsoft RAMDrive not showing up in Explorer!

by roopie / October 26, 2004 11:32 AM PDT

On my XP Pro, SP2 machine I installed Microsoft RAMDrive via the Add New Hardware wizard in Control Panel. The RAM Drive shows up in Device Manager but not in Windows Explorer. I used TweapXP Pro to set the drive letter and size of the Ram Drive and re-booted the machine. But still no RAM Drive in Explorer. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks for any and all help!

Explorer is NOT a file browser. The first test I would do is a command line DIR or the suspected drive letter to see if Explorer is the issue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
