Microsoft Outlook

Apr 18, 2007 4:07AM PDT

Home brew PC - 1.8 ghz - 1 gb. RAM - Win XP OS.- Office 2000

I recieved an error message in Outlook (NOT Express) indicating one of my messages had a problem and need to run the following:

C:/documents and settings/bill/local settings/application data/outlook/outlook.pst

"Quit all mail apps and then use the Inbox Repair Tool."

I tried the Office 2000 install CD to repair Outlook with no luck.

Well I never found the repair tool and my Outlook locks up after Outlook opened all the screens and then hung up when it tried to access the messages.

Is it easier to erase Outlook and start over? If so what is the proceedure to delete Outlook?

Thanks for any help.

in Outlook > Help > Detect and Repair?

You may still need that Office CD.
