I have office professional 2000 and want to upgrade to premium. Do I purchase the Service Pak rev 3? Thanks for your help.

"Do I purchase the Service Pak rev 3?"

Service packs and releases are free downloads. However your non-question noted a want to upgrade to the "premium" which is another can of worms. The Office 2000 is now 4 years ago and may not be upgradeable to 2000 versions. You may find that only the Office XP is available and the Office XP Premium upgrade package is what you might purchase.

Can you reveal what you need from the Premium package? Maybe there is an alternative.

can't open outloook (office premium 2000, windows 2000 sp4)

premium trys to configure and asks to insert a cd that I do not have. It does not like my copy of data1.ms1. I have productid# but cannot do a repair because keeps saying an update is in process. I can open word but cannot start outlook, missing omint.dll. tells me to install again, but i can't get past this loop with premium.

I also have office xp upgrade cds from another machine, but run into same problem.
