Microsoft Office Picture Manager

Aug 4, 2006 12:42PM PDT

I'm trying to find a program that is as similar and user friendly as microsoft picture manager... i used the office 2003 trial and i liked how the program works. But I would rather not buy MSO 2003 just for one prgram.. so if i've looked through some of the software on this site.. and am still coming up empty.. if anyone could direct me to such a program it would be greatly appreciated

Check out Google's Picasa...

Google's Picasa is a free program that can organize photos, facilitate minor alterations and effects, create slideshows and Photo CDs, etc. Its interface is also cleaner and easier to navigate than Picture Manager's. It will certainly not disappoint.

Hope this helps,
John

I DL'd picasa... it IS the closest thing to picture manager i have found.. not 100% . taking some time to get used to, but it will do for now.. eventually i think i'm just gonna upgrade to office 2003, unless MS allows Picture Manager to be Dl'd from the site
