Microsoft office on a USB drive???

im wondering if you can run microsoft office off a USB drive. i understand that registy is a problem and that there is openoffice for USB. But i need to know if it's possible to run MS office froma USB?

I doubt it. But why not just try it? Copye the full MS Office folder from Program Files to your USB-stick. Mount it in another machine and try to run winword.exe (and excel, powerpoint and whatever components you like to run) from it.

Please post your experiences. It will be interesting.

nope it does not work. im not shocked though. they should defintly make on that will run on USB drive though

Nobody would buy the product if it suffices to copy it somewhere to a USB-stick. With a 75% margin on the product, I wouldn't do it either.

OpenOffice is free, so they do. Nice, ain't it?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
