microsoft office 2000 and frontpage 2003

I am wondering if someone could help me here I recentlly uninstalled microsoft office 2000 on my windows xp which was fine but i also wanted to uninstall microsoft frontpage 2003 as well but i cannot when i go to add and remove programs it cannot repair it, or uninstall it or reinstall it, it comes up with an error saying error 1316 setup cannot read from file C:\winnit\installer\FPIIN.MSI
The frontpage was on my pc before i had it so i have no disk either.

i havet found any help on the web so far,and its taking up space on my hard drive as well,

I also tried to delete the files microsoft frontpage but it cannot and says it is in use??

hope someone can help me with me.

1. Go get the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility and clean out the items for office you want gone.

2. Manually delete the program files directory for the product then delete the shortcuts.

thanks for your reply . The only shortcut i have is microsoft frontpage one which i did delete from the desktop but i cannot delete it from program files as it says the folder BIN is in use which i dont understand also in the add and remove frontpage is taking up 114.mb so its taking up space which i dont understand as i cant see anything there. i will install the program you said about hope it works will keep you informed.

thanks for your help i installed the microsoft clean up as you suggested and it has been removed and now have more space.
