Microsoft invents new word ?!?

Mar 15, 2006 7:15PM PST

Geofederatable.

With the latest live.com upgrade announcement came this new word..."geofederatable". The word is unknown by Webster's dictionary.

Google to find it...cheers.

a quick dissection

I almost posted the same thing last week when I read that, but a quick dissection of the word and you have its meaning.

Geo = Earth
Federated = united
Geo - federate - able = something able to be united globally.

Pretty clever if you ask me. I love new words, especially because it shows that people understand how language works rather than memorizing its components.

Could be geo federable?
