Microsoft Internex Explorer Left in the Dust??

One question to you and others. Do you ever use Microsoft Internet Explorer? Mac Safari for Macintosh and Mozilla Firefox (for both platforms) have seemed to leave Microsoft in the dust?
Probably has been discussed before, I am sure.
How about discussing the new bells and whistles on each the Safari and Firefox Browsers? What's available?
Might be a good newer discussion and with the new Firefox V1.5.
I really do not know anything about V1.5.
Giff images will not load using Firefox and my

John (mouseroma) tried to help me out on that one. Still no giff images since I cannot go deeper into the solution he sent me. Really do not know how to do that.
Easy for the guru, not so easy for the beginner. I am on a Mac platform running OSX10.4.4 Tiger. Safari works nicely for me and the browser is really fast.

Firefox V1.0.7 works very well also, yet slower than Safari.

Peter told me how to set up spell check for Safari. That works. Who knew that one?
Peter sent me info to set up the back button for Safari. New to me!

John sent me info on how to set up the back button with navigation tools with Firefox. Who knew that one?

Here is the bottom-line question.
What's new and exciting with all browsers and which one do you use and why??

I use it also. Kind of neat
Also switch between Safari for the Mac.

Received this from John (mouseroma) and some good info because I did not have navigation tools on Firefox before this evening. Good tip and info:
The navigation toolbar...
In looking at the screenshots you sent me, one thing stuck're missing your navigation toolbar in Firefox. You can get that back by going view->toolbars->navigation toolbar. If the forward and back buttons are not present on the navigation toolbar, go view->toolbars->customize, then drag and drop the two buttons into position from the window that pops up. It's just a simple issue with accidentally hiding/removing buttons/toolbars in Firefox. (It's not related to Cnet.)__Hope this helps,_John

Well, John, it was so easy it was amazingly simple to get the nav. toolbar!! Who would know that?
