Microsoft internet exlporer 7

Just down loaded the update for internet explor 7. When I open it up on my Dell computer I get a blank page then it opens on the second page. There is nothing on the first page, but it makes it run much slower. I installed the preogram on my lap top and I do not have this problem.

My Desk top has Microsoft XP home adition version 2002 with service pack 2. My computer has the Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 180GHz 512 MB of Ram

Thanks Ken

It appears IE 7 isn't ready for primetime. Go back to what worked.

and what web site is displayed on the second page?

What is your Home Page, the one you would normally expect to display when you first open your browser?
