Microsoft has sense of ... humor?

Mar 14, 2006 2:09PM PST

It would seem that the people behind the hilarious parody of the Microsoft iPod, would be none other than ... Microsoft themselves.

Boy, I never saw THAT coming!

OJ, George and Bill - it's all the same
Mar 14, 2006 4:30PM PST

Hey, kids, what do OJ and George W do when everybody thinks they suck? Hire professionals.

They'll tell you just how to be popular again... ssssSuuuUPER popular!!

What's the most heart warming, bring a tear to your eye news item of the year? Why, it's J-Mac and his amazing six-in-a-row (I cried too). So, W carts him out in front of the press and leeches as much feel-good mojo off the kid as he can get. What's that, we're up 3 in the polls? Yeah, baby!

It's all the same.

Microsoft: We're too stodgy. We're too corporate. Let's make fun of it. People like fun. Fun fun fun. Yaaay, looks like we're not heartless corporate a-holes anymore.

<huge breath>
.... so in two years from now when Microsoft, weed that it is (just when you think it's dead - it's baaaaaack), has managed to kill off Delicious, Amazon, Ebay, and heck, maybe even Google because their s#*t is embedded in 9/10ths of the world's operating systems and by default goes to the pages that stink of Bill because most people are too lazy or stupid to change it <exhale> we'll see if the love is still there.

Reality check

Hate to agree too much, but I think you're dead on Kevin.

Hopefully people will get smarter in the next few years. I know, fat chance. Maybe the dark net will save us.

Mar 15, 2006 12:33PM PST

It's great and everything... it even made me laugh... but I'd rather be listening to BOL today, even if it was a Veronica-only edition.
