Feb 14, 2017 3:57PM PST

For those that keep an watchful eye on their Windows Updates and are wondering why they didn't come through this morning.. Well, Microsoft made a decision to hold back delivery today because of a glitch in one of the updates. Read about it below:

Microsoft shelves all February security updates
The company's current patch policy makes it impossible to hold back just one fix, so no one gets anything.

Flash Player Security Update
Feb 14, 2017 5:00PM PST

Today, a security update has been released by Adobe for Flash Player. For those using Windows 8, 8.1, and 10, the updates for Edge and Internet Explorer have not been released yet, per the "hold" put on this month's updates, but for other browsers and for Windows 7, the updates are available. The Flash Player Security Update for Windows takes the version number from 24.0.0.197 to 24.0.0.221. If you choose, it's possible to install the Flash Player update using the procedures below.

NOTE: Clicking on the links below will immediately open the download dialogue window for the offline installer.

First, uninstall the old version of Flash by using the Flash Uninstaller at the link below..
https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe

After that's done, then download and run the appropriate manual Flash player installer from the link below. If running two browsers, you may need both installers.

Flash Player for IE 32& 64 bit:
https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/pdc/24.0.0.221/install_flash_player_24_active_x.msi

Flash Player for Non-IE browser (Opera, Firefox etc):
https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/pdc/24.0.0.221/install_flash_player_24_plugin.msi

Hope this helps.
