I haven't seen pop ups of the type you see in Internet Explorer occur in Explorer.

Can you detail what it is that is missing? Could it be "tool tips" or such?

When I try to open a window or I get a pop up it is just a blank screen. You cannot acces the tool bat and there is no address showing. At the bottom of the screen it says microsoft explorer.

There are two different programs that have the word "Explorer" in their name. One is Internet Explorer. This is a web browser. The other is Windows Explorer, which is a tool to view and manage files and folders on your computer. Please clarify which of these two programs you are using. There is no program just called "Microsoft Explorer."
