Microsoft Excel autofilter feature

Hi,

I am running Microsoft excel 2003 on Windows XP at work. I am suddenly running into a problem where when I am using autofilter. When I filter my spreadsheet , and do my work for a while, the autofilter stops working-The drop down arrows at the top of the column stop working. I then have to turn off the autofilter feature, then click on Format>Row>unhide to get back the rows which were filtered out. Needless to say, this is annoying.

My question is, is there a bug I am unaware of, or am I doing something wrong? This is a work computer, so I don't have any personal control over virus scans, etc.

An accidental keypress, the keyboard logger threat is real and I've found a few in cases where copy/paste or other keyboard functions have stopped working. Sorry but this is my first thought here so while there may be some real product bug I want to share that I've changed my thinking about pests over the past 3 years from "it's rarely that" to "it's usually that."
