Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)

An accounting program showed the following error: 'Error creating object.Please verify that the Microsoft Data Access Components 2.1 (or later) have been properly installed. I am using a Win 7 OS... Any suggestion where I can find a fix?

I usually have to look at the accounting program's install notes to see what MDAC it needed. Tell a little more.
