Question

'Microsoft basic display driver' is appearing instead of my

I recently purchased my PC a few months ago and it was working perfectly up until a matter of weeks ago.
As the title explains, everytime I goto turn on my PC the resolution defaults to 800x600 instead of the native resolution of 1920x1080. Plus every time I go to play a game it wont load as I don't have the 'Minimum Hardware specified' even though I maxed out on the graphics before this all happened.
However, once in a blue moon it decides to go back to 1920X1080 and allows me to run the games. That lasts for no longer than a few minutes before the PC crashes on me and I have to restart it, only for it to go back to 800x600 and not allow me to launch any games. I've tried clean installing the Graphics card drivers and factory resetting the whole PC. None of which worked. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Power the machine off.
Reseat the video card a few times.
If there are aux power cables feeding the video card reseat those a few times
Power up and see what device mgr has to say about this video card.

If still no go call the maker....see what they want to do.....warranty
