Microsoft anti spyware beta

by mopscare42 / July 16, 2005 6:33 AM PDT

Has anyone here used the anti spyware bete from Microsoft. If so, how is it working.
I had a very bad experience with a beta once and am a little hesitant to download this one.
I see they have made two upgrades so far, so maybe it's ok.

Hi mopscare42

There are quite a number of us using it in here. As far as my experience with it, I have had no problems with the exception of some updating glicthes that Microsoft is aware of. As with ANY new program that you use, expecially the first few times that you run it and also when there are new definitions, you should always be careful with what you delete. Either quarantine it or check out out further before you actually delete anything.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
