I just tried a manual update and for the first time received a message that it could not connect.
Is Microsoft having a problem?

Hey Roddy,

I think I'm current although I've been seeing this ongoing discussion over a couple days, I have Spyware Definition Version: 5783 (12/8/2005 4:46:51 PM)
I'm assuming that's the most current?

Thanks,
Steve

we are ALL getting old Auggie. I don't glasses will help any of us anymore LOL. I'm glad you posted it again Auggie, as I was planning to check again today but I forgot to do that until I saw your post. That is another thing that goes back to the age thing. My monitor looks like a commercial for 3M Post-its so I don't forget what I'm supposed to do.

Roddy,

I had to laugh, I'm getting to the age besides glasses, I need to put 3M post-its around my monitor, by my front door, before I walk out to remind me of what I need to remember for any given day...

WARNING
When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens . . .

(NT) (NT) I like purple. :)
