Jun 16, 2007 10:58AM PDT

Hello, I just but a micro sd card w/adapter for my sansa e250. I plugged the card into the computer and dropped songs I uploaded onto the micro sd card. When i plug the card into my sansa i cant seem to find the songs. They dont show up under the artist, and nothing about external memory comes up. any help?

Thanks,
Tyler

reboot the player after inserting the card? Also has to be in MSC mode when adding tracks to the card. MTP mode the card isn't seen.

The problem is probably that you loaded the card on the computer separately and not while in the device itself (some kind of file transfer incompatibility?). I have a card in my c250 and have no problem loading the card while it's in the device in MTP mode through Windows Media Player 11. It shows as a second device. It is also no problem in MSC mode when the Sansa is opened in My Computer. Just leave the card in the player and try loading it that way. Also, have you updated your firmware recently? You need to change the USB settings to MSC mode before plugging it in for the Sansa updater (which I hope you have installed) to look for updates.
