- What did you expect that would happen?
- Can you find another PC or laptop (from a friend, colleague, work, family) that also has a slot for a micro SD? Does it work there as you expected?
- Any errors in Device Manager for the SD-slot you use?

You may have to reveal the make, model phone. The size of the memory card and the make, model of the laptop. Not all laptops support SDHC memory cards. That is, if the card is over 1GB you might find the laptop won't recognize the card. THAT ISSUE is well discussed so I'll stop here.

So we have a 2mb SD microcard?

But let's just cover off that SDHC cards might not been supported in this model. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=Dell+XPS-410+sdhc+support

Hmm, the work around I use is an USB CARD READER. Try that.

Again, your posts are lacking details so no one can give you a clear answer. At least we know your machine might not work with large GB+ memory cards.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
