Resolved Question

Micro sd card

Sep 1, 2011 5:08PM PDT

Hi Hiwa Here, I just bought a 32GB Micro SD card because my 8GB one that I have in my HTC inspire is almost full. Just wanted to know what is the best/easiest way to transfer my data from the 8GB to the 64BG one. Thanks for the help.

I did this!

I used the idea Kees noted. I made a folder on my desktop and copied all the files and folders from my card to that folder.

Then I put my new 32GB card into my phone and found a format command and formatted the new card in my phone. I do this because I want to be absolutely sure the card is formatted for my phone (or camera!)

Now I shutdown my phone, put the card back into the PC and copied all the files and folders from my PC back to the card.

It worked for me.

I'd use the hard disk of your PC for temporary storage.
- Put the old drive in your card reader. Copy everything to the hard disk.
- Put the new drive in. Copy everything to it.
- Try if it works. Not guaranteed.
