Micro ATX Build

Feb 11, 2015 3:02AM PST

I'm looking for some general advice on a server build I want to start next week. It will be used mostly for video editing, 3d modeling, and some gaming. Currently I'm thinking of running a GTX 970 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1085201&is=REG&Q=&A=details) On a GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Micro ATX Intel Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...irtualParent=1)
Inside a Titan Micro ATX case (http://mypccase.com/timiatxdecaw.html). I'm aiming to keep costs down but still want an efficient machine to work with. Does anyone have any experience with a similar build?

a multipurpose machine. I think if you look at the requirements of that graphics card and what the wattage of the PS in that case can produce, you'll see problems immediately. I think it's back to the drawing board. You'll need a case with more internal real estate and a much more capable PS.

Case....mid tower
Mobo....atx
Psu......600w or bigger....single rail

Don't even think about trying to build that rig with that bread box case.
