It might help if you tell in some detail what you do and what happens.
"cannot get my computer to accept" and "could not get my computer to install" is rather vague.
If it did work before you reinstalled your OS (what OS?) it should work now the same way, shouldn't it, if you use the same program from the same CD that came with the same printer.
Unless, of course, there's a hardware issue.
And what has HP to do with the story? It's a Brother printer.

MFC-465cn Printer software comes with software for scanning. It is called CC3. I reformatted my hard drive and now under no circumstances can I get my computer to accept and reinstall CC3. I have downloaded the CC3 update fron the Brother support website. I have had HP Support Techs take over control of my computer remotely. They could not get my computer to install CC3. Can anybody help or offer advice? I am using a usb port. I am pretty sure the usb cable is working properly because I am able to scan from the printer to paperport 11, which also cmae with the printer. What shall I do?
