Mexican border, next Canada

Minutemen could patrol Canadian border

WASHINGTON (CP) - The Minutemen, a group of civilian volunteers who've been patrolling the Arizona-Mexico border in efforts to catch illegal immigrants, may start monitoring the Canadian border this fall for criminals and terrorists.

"That is entirely possible," said Fred Elbel, spokesman for the Civil Homeland Defense group in Tombstone, Ariz., a related organization.

"But we do not have specific plans yet. It will take a few months for that."

Some northern states have asked for help in setting up volunteer border watches, said Elbel, who added there's been evidence terrorists have tried to cross both the Canadian and Mexican borders.

The Minutemen have been criticized as vigilantes by President George W. Bush and Mexican President Vincente Fox has threatened to prosecute them.

But they've been receiving more favourable attention lately from some U.S. politicians.

I would send this to you via our Instant Messaging, but you don't have it turned on.

You know that I think of you as one of my SE Friends, so please accept what I say as such Happy

You would do a great service to yourself and those of us in SE who like you, not to mention SE as a whole, if you could try to ignore some of the folks that seem to push your buttons. I know it makes you angry; much of does the same to me, but there has to be a way to stop it. It takes two to tango - you don't need to be the other persons partner. What you say to them doesn't change their minds, it only makes the garbage go on and on and ..... Sad

Please take care, and remember I like you Happy

As a matter of fact, if guests overstayed their visit, they

will be asked to leave. That is the homeowner's right. If he/she chooses to be gracious in the face of rude behaviour that is fine, but he/she has no obligation to do so. Do you think someone could be invited to come to dinner, and use the occasion to move in to the home?

the problem is fraud, it's having a tiger by the tail.
With changes in the economy the Guest Workers, mainly Turks, aren't as welcome as they were when we had two VWs in every garage. Happy Add that to common ethnic and racial tensions and the situation can get ugly.
Further: A new group of downtrodden Muslims has been created right on Germany's doorstep.

Hop right in by all *means*.

That's right.
Hop right in brothers and sisters of the human race. Canada is geographically enormous in size.
There?s plenty of room to start a ?NEW LIFE?.
Land to toil,
Businesses to create
Freedom to explore
People to meet
Places to go
And lots of things to do.

I'll volunteer to pay extra taxes to get the selective *YOU* started.

I would very much like to invite the *minutemen* to help patrol Alberta, B.C. and the Great Lakes. Wink
