People have been fired for trying to break through company firewalls. Have you talked to your IT department? Maybe specific machines can be configured to access the net.
As a catch-all, without knowing specifically what software your company is running it would be impossible to try to talk you through this. And it could mean your job.

Having problems signing into messenger.
I think that the company have found a way of blocking access. This is ok to stop students wasting time but a pain for us poor staff 
Is there a way that I can find through the firewall, assuming this is where the stop is?
Can I set the settings manually?
If so how - I have limited tech knowledge so simple please.
