Question

Messed Up iPad Mini 4 Screen

Feb 13, 2019 2:31PM PST

I accidentally stepped on my iPad Mini 4 last month. I attached a picture of what the screen shows when powered on. Half the screen isn't visible, but it fully responds to touch, still. Just can't see half of what's going on. You can see some cracks near the lower half of the screen, but they're internal, you can't feel them on the glass front, it's smooth. I'm not an expert on iPad's and was wondering if anyone could describe the flaw exactly shown. Would this be described as Bad/Cracked LCD? Not sure... I seen that repairing it would cost $80 on up. Would I be better off reselling it for parts/repair and just purchase a new one? Thank you.

The bottom of the screen to me shows a cracked screen. I can't guess which model you have but the better ones with more storage are usually repaired. My old 16GB Mini would not be repaired.
