A lot of motherboards are starting to ship with RAID controllers. Especially those with SATA ports. Unless you're actually using these ports or the RAID functions, I would just disable it in the CMOS. You can always re-enable it if you need the functionality it provides in the future.
One Of my computers (p4-2.8GHz, 1GB ram,NVIDIA Geforce FX 5600, Asus motherboard P4C800-E deluxe) when I start up my computer, after the "press del to enter setup" screen I see "Fast Track 378tm Bois version 1.00.037 no drive attached to fast track controller,Bios not installed." What does this mean? How do i fix it? Or should I leave it alone? Please help! Thanks
