In Mozilla 1.6, Netscape 7.1 and IE 5.5 SP2, same result.
And I'll not mess with any 'hosts' file to get there either.
In IE:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft Windows can examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings.
If you would like Windows to try and discover them,
click Detect Network Settings

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer
and it also works on IE 5.5 SP2 here - I did NOT change anything.
Does clearing your cache help??
Cache is browser specific, right? Why would THREE browsers all be the same and I NOT have problems going to ANY other site?
Yep, strange you have problems with all 3. I can NOT explain it. The only explanation I could find was:
"We are now hosted by X-Block.com. To prevent a DDoS from taking down all of our domains again like last time, most of the sites are changing hosting services. This will not affect your bookmarks, unless they linked to an IP rather than a domain."
Well, will keep my eyes and ears open to find out if others are having the same problem and if there is a solution.
Thanks Marianna, it was not that important to me, but I wanted to let you and others know that I could not get there with three different browsers. Did not try Opera, but like I said, this is not all that important to me.

X-Block is hosting merijn.org on one of their servers. Loading the IP address by itself will load X-Block, not merijn.
The attacks are continuing today and they picked up. They have knocked down tomcoyote.org on its new server and they briefly knocked down x-block/merijn, but both are back up for now.
We are strongly suspecting that someone is exploiting PCs infected with mydoom to launch these attacks, but that is just speculation at the moment.

Using W98SE, I.E.5.5, SP2, and I get the same message as you. I tried several times and no luck.
Merijn.org has moved!
