Merging three computers, need HELP!

Jul 17, 2007 5:26AM PDT

i need help with this setup I'm trying with a computer. i have a Compaq computer with Win2k on it and i plan to take out its motherboard and put it in a new tower with 2 CD drives and a zip drive built in and duplicate its partitioned-in-half 4GB onto the other computer's 20GB hard drive[which has win98 and Norton Ghost installed] and put in another 20GB hard drive and make the two separate hard drives appear as one. If I need extra parts they have to be affordable, and please do recommend any other programs I may need[make sure they're freeware].

to combine 20 Gb disk to one virtual 40 Gb disk? I doubt if it is possible, by the way.

And I see only two computers in your story (a Compaq with Win2K) and another computer with Windows 98. And an empty new tower.

And, in fact, what help do you need exactly?

if I read the post correctly. Hence my doubt. Your remark "can be done in Win2K, but you can't boot from it" isn't very promising in that respect.
