The Crucial.com and kingston.com selectors are what I suggest. The value ram, if it works is usually fine but it's rare to see your machine listed on it's list.
I have a Toshiba Qosmio Laptop F10 with 512MB RAM. I have purchased Kingston value DDR RAM 1GB DDR PC2700 333 MHz KVR333S0 for memory upgrade but some web site has suggested I use DDR KTT3311/1G for this system. I have asked a friend of mine who suggested that I could use the Kingston value RAM as it is general purpose for any Laptop requiring 1GB RAM. I am confused. Can you guide me whether I can use value RAM or use only the specific RAM recommended for the system. Thanks in advance.
