Question

Memory tab in task manager is around 95-100%

Sep 6, 2016 4:58PM PDT

I've been having this trouble for the past few weeks now and I have no idea how I can fix it. When I start playing a game, the memory tab, which I believe is virtual memory, is around 97%, causing my game and computer to run terribly slow. I've looked up how to fix the problem and followed multiple different instructions, but none have seemed to work. I'm hoping someone can help me because I spent a lot of money building my PC and now I can't even run normal games. Thanks

Clarification Request
Memory should be at or close to 100%

That's best for a Virtual Memory OS like Windows. I don't see any other detail in your post so for VM OSes, we want memory to be used first. It's the fastest stuff in the PC.

Now if you have 1GB RAM, well, that's the issue.
