1. Take it to one of those self serve Picture Print machines and see if you can get your pictures on CD.
2. Put the stick into the camera and format it in the camera. Remember to do that at least yearly.
In closing, these sticks do not last forever. Sorry if I'm the one to note this.
I have a Sony Vaio PCG-9P7M and a Sony cybershot camera with Sony memory sticks. My laptop has an internal memory stick reader/drive.
For years I have been inserting my camera memory stick into the reader on my laptop to retrieve photos. On my laptop the reader is assigned E drive. However now when I insert the memory stick into the reader nothing happens...the laptop is not recognising that I've inserted stick. I go to My computer and double click on the 'E drive Memory stick' but I get a message PLEASE INSERT A DISK INTO DRIVE E:
I am confused why the reader on my laptop has just suddenly stopped working. I previously would use it nearly daily.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
