Memory stick

Can someone please tell me if you can record voice from a meeting straight onto a memory stick. Meeting 3 hours.

Is there anyway you can tell if something has been changed from a memory stick or a digital sound recorder apart from your own mind.

Sure.

Use any audio recorder you like and set it to record to said stick.

To see if anyone edited that file, you can use a CHECK SUM program but there are far too many to choose from. It's best you pick both the audio recorder and check sum software so it's what you like.

If the recording program or device you use to record the meeting has the option to write to a stick instead of the hard disk, it's yes. What recording recording program or device do you use? What does the manual say about supported places to save the recording?

If somebody edited the recording and took care that the creation and modification date of the edited version were changed to the original value, the answer is no.

The recording was made on an Olympus recorder but then copied on a memory stick but when I received the recording there was a few things missing so I am stuck.

This is very important because it was a recording of a complaint I made and the things that were deleted were to my advantage.I will give it a go.
