Memory Rambus

My Dell have Samsung a pair of 128MB in 4 slot of Rambus. I had been very diffculty to find this Rambus memory. Should I change motherboard for DDR2 or stay with Rambus and just add upgrade memory. Would it still fast than DDR2? I was thinking plan to buy new Dell again. My is Dimesion 8250 has 2.4 533Mhz

I stuck with 256MB for a very long time perform video editing on the road on a p3-600 MHz. You should be better off than my old laptop.

Try a little 'optimizing'. It's just as much payback as more RAM but less costly.

If the system otherwise satisfies your needs...make it easy on yourself...get more RAM. You can get 2x128MBs non ECC for $130 from ZIP-ZOOM Fly. Try the URL below..you still have options even for PC1066
