Memory Question

I have an emachine w2040 with an amd anthon xp200+ with with a 1.6 GHz with 128 mb of memory. My problem is when i pull up my system properties it only registers 96mb memory. How Can I fix this to be 128

it gets its memory from your main memory. Looks as if your video is using 32 MB. You may be able to lower that in the BIOS. Very common in lower priced computers.

Why not simply add some more memory? it is reasonably priced. Get it from www.crucial for good price and full warranty.

You only have 2 slots. Another 128 stick would boost your system but you can find a better deal on a 256 stick. It is true, your on-board video is sucking up your memory. You also have an agp port if you want to install a new video card.
