Memory Low ???

Feb 28, 2004 2:48PM PST

I have the window ME. In my system Tray there is a small icon that has numbers on it which goes up & down, some times it goes over 200, then slowly all the way down & then disappers, when this happens my computer stops for a second or two then when the numbers show again then whatever I'm working on starts up again & is fine untill those numbers goes down again. When I click on the icon it says Memory Blaster then something RAM, MB Used, MB free. What does all of this mean & how do I fix it? Hope you can understand what I mean. Thanks

Re:Memory Low ??? + Memory Blaster = What I don't use.

Frankly, such memory measurement programs EAT MEMORY TOO! If I had a Windows ME machine (I no longer do...) I would read about OPTIMIZING WINDOWS at http://www.aumha.org/articles.htm to learn about MEMORY and OPTIMIZING and forego the blaster that is eating some memory too.

Best of luck,

Bob

Thanks Bob, but I have another question. Are you telling me that I don't need the Memory Blaster & to delete it from my programs. I've had it for quiet a while, but it just started causing this problem 2-3 weeks ago.
DO I NEED TO DELETE THE MEMORY BLASTER?
Thanks,

I don't know if you need it. I can flatly state I never needed such an item.

Uninstall Memory Blaster

You can try what's in the Add/remove programs in the control panel. If not, find it's author's website and see if they offer a method.
