I have a Gigabyte GA 7N700 Pro 2 mobo and a Socket A AMD Athlon XP/Duron 2600 Processor and two sticks of 512MB 3200 DDR RAM

Would an added two sticks of 512MB PC5300 DDR2 RAM work in the above setup?

DDR AND DDR2. Believe you'll find those that do work with either DDR and DDR2 don't work with both (RAM types) at the same time. It's one or the other.

Thanks.
