Memory card issue

64 GB card - almost full

cant detect in any PC /Mac ...

cannot format .. only shows 31 MB of space when trying to format or seen in property

gets extremely hot

Rumor has it here's lots of fake memory cards out there.

Did you buy from a reputable vendor ?

there are a lot of counterfeit cards out there. where did you get yours? what brand? what type of memory card? there is more than one type (microsd, sd ...) are you trying to format it with the computer or in the device?

The so hot it burns ones never come back. Techs have a technical term for this condition. "Fried."

Hope this is not where folk tell you about backups.
