Memory Card

I too am having the same problem trying to get my memory cards to read. I have been using a Sony A200 for over a year now with no problems. now all of a sudden my memory card is not reading. I tried it on my apple, my computer down stairs, my friends computer, a photo booth inside a store, another card reader on a different computer, Best Buy's computers....none of them are working, yet my camera still shows the pictures when you put the card in. So.... today I went and bought a new card. A Kingston Compact Flash Card 8GB. Guess what!! It doesn't work either! I have no idea what is going on. I have tried different things, different computers, etc....... anyone?????

Ok, on the new card. Did you?

Did you format it in the camera before use?

8GB is SDHC so there are reasons for some machines to not read it but try again with a fresh format in the camera.

-> If that camera can read it, I use the old trick of USB cable to camera to fish the pictures out.
