memory card

I have a digital camera now and i have a san disk 128mb memory card. i want to get a new digital camera and I was wondering if I could use the same memory card and if i would be able to keep the pictures i already have on it?

You can reuse the card if the new camera takes that same type (SD, Compact Flash, etc.) of card.

Keeping the old photos on the card is not a good idea.

You need to format that card with the new camera.
A format will delete any photos on the card.

Copy the photos to your computer and then burn them to a CD for backup.
